“Gypsy is among the most beloved and highly effective musicals ever written. I’ve wished to direct it ever since I found the movie years in the past. I can’t consider one other musical that brings the mixed parts of drama, tune and dance collectively in such a transparent and joyful manner. The mixture of Sondheim’s beautiful lyrics and Styne’s lovely melodies make Gypsy an everlasting, highly effective story. I can’t wait to carry it to life on the Pitlochry stage with such a proficient and sensible firm.”
Gypsy runs at Pitlochry Competition Theatre from 19 Might until 30 September.
