Award-winning playwright and comic Kate Hammer debuts her new one-woman comedy play Should Be This Homosexual To Journey on the Outdated Gymnasium Theatre in Glasgow.
Should Be This Homosexual To Journey is a one-woman comedy play centring round queerness, relationships, and selecting how we outline ourselves. Danny, a pansexual girl, grapples with the sensation of belonging to a group which may not need to settle for her. This play explores the complexities of queerness: pansexual erasure, the stigma of getting relationships with males, and the unstated hierarchy of queerness. Danny dives into the proverbial can of worms that comes with an unintended being pregnant and an abortion as a queer girl.
