Rob Edwards has written two traditional animated movies for WALT DISNEY FEATURE ANIMATION, the Academy Award-nominated Treasure Planet and the Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated The Princess and the Frog. He additionally consulted on Tangled, Wreck-it Ralph, and Frozen. He penned AMULET for Warner Brothers and ANIMATED AMERICAN for Disney.
Rob is at present writing initiatives for SHOWTIME, SONY, PARAMOUNT, and Chris Rock. Rob can also be recognized for his work on the tv exhibits “The Contemporary Prince of Bel-Air,” “Full Home,” “A Totally different World,” “Roc,” “In Residing Colour,” and because the creator of “Out All Evening.” In 2012, Rob launched robedwards.internet, the place he shares the instruments he has developed over 30 years of writing professionally.
He has taught and/or lectured for UCLA, Tisch Faculty of the Arts at NYU, Syracuse College, Boston College, Howard College, The Group of Black Screenwriters, CTN Expo, LMU, Digital Hollywood, The Scriptwriters Community, The Writers Retailer, College of California Riverside, Le Moyne Faculty and others.
