Excision and Wooli are again—and this time they introduced buddies.
A month after the longtime collaborators released a song with metalcore powerhouse The Satan Wears Prada, the prehistoric bass music titans have revealed a brand new monitor years within the making. This time round, they’ve dialed again the aggression and recruited Codeko and Annika Wells for an emotive anthem launched within the thick of competition season.
The turbocharged collaboration, “Do not Look Down (Maintain On),” incorporates all of the distinctive abilities of the quartet. After opening with haunting keys layered beneath impassioned vocals from Wells, we’re greeted with a melodic bass drop that uplifts earlier than they uncage the beast inside. Giving in to their proclivity for heavy-hitting manufacturing, the group ultimately blow the door off the hinges with a Jurassic bass drop to carry the association house.
