Vampire Weekend are releasing a vinyl-only stay album: Frog on the Bass Drum Vol. 01 contains songs the band performed on tour in Indianapolis in June 2019. Solely 2,500 copies of the LP have been pressed. The file was manufactured by Jack White’s Third Man Pressing in Detroit. See the tracklist beneath.
On the Indianapolis present, Vampire Weekend performed songs from all 4 of their studio albums: their self-titled debut, Contra, Modern Vampires of the City, and Father of the Bride. The band additionally broke out a 10-minute cowl of Bob Dylan’s Infidels opener, “Jokerman,” which is now getting its first official launch. Plus, Ezra Koenig rapped a few of “Pizza Party,” the premier music from his and Chris Tomson’s school rap group, L’Homme Run.
