The xx’s Romy has introduced her debut solo album. Mid Air, an album described within the announcement as specializing in “celebration, sanctuary and salvation on the dance ground” and the neighborhood of queer golf equipment, is out September 8 through Young. At the moment, she’s shared the Fred Once more..–produced album opener “Loveher.” Romy stated in an announcement: “Fred requested me, who may this be for, and I tentatively stated… ‘possibly me.’” Test it out under.
