Titled Trinity, the mission finds Rosier fusing Gregorian chant with ambient manufacturing and heavy-hitting techno beats, curating a mesmerizing expertise that disrupts and pushes the boundaries of the style.
Out independently, Trinity is as cinematic as it’s thumping. “Archons,” the album’s beautiful intro, completely introduces Rosier’s mythological storytelling. Pushed by ethereal vocal harmonies and eerie soundscapes, the eerie opener kicks issues off fantastically earlier than the depth builds.
“Inferno” is full of shiny synths wrapped in a driving, downtempo beat whereas “Tower of Babylon” finds Rosier diving into the world of acid techno. “Gidora” (with TRSTN) makes for one of many mission’s standout tracks with its heavenly vocals and explosive climaxes, which resemble the epic soundtrack of a Hollywood tentpole.
In the meantime, Rosier incorporates breakbeats right into a sonic mattress of sentimental ambiances in “Titan” earlier than shifting gears with “ALT Shift,” a stripped-back lower and one of the vocal-heavy on the mission. That track easily transitions into “Rapture,” which ends Trinity on a larger-than-life word.
