NBC isn’t taking The Wheel out for one more spin. The community has cancelled the competitors sequence, so there received’t be a second season. The primary season of 10 episodes ran throughout two weeks throughout the holidays.
A trivia recreation present based mostly on a UK format, The Wheel TV sequence is hosted by its creator, British comic Michael McIntyre. Friends embody Cat Cora, Mark McGrath, Todrick Corridor, Steve Kornacki, Christina Ricci, Amber Ruffin, Vivica A. Fox, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, JoJo, John Urschel, Captain Sandy Yawn, Bruno Tonioli, Decide Greg Mathis, Ricki Lake, Mark Sanchez, Amber Ruffin, Justin Willman, Tori Spelling, Buddy Valastro, Amber Riley, Jaime Camil, Carnie Wilson, Steve Kornacki, Sheila E, Tom Bergeron, Shawn Johnson East, Captain Lee Rosbach, Kyla Pratt, Victor Cruz, and Debbie Gibson. Within the recreation, a 42-foot-wide spinning wheel of superstar friends helps on a regular basis contestants as they attempt to win loads of money. Because the contestants vie for the prospect to win over $100,000, the celebrities lend their experience and help in numerous humorous and surprising trivia classes, starting from sweet and comedians to poker and politics.
The first season of The Wheel averaged a 0.28 ranking within the 18-49 demographic and 1.76 million viewers. It was one of many peacock community’s lowest-rated series of the season so the cancellation wasn’t a shock.
