Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice have launched their track for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film. The RiotUSA-produced single, “Barbie World,” interpolates and reinterprets Aqua’s “Barbie Woman.” Discover the brand new track under.
“Barbie World” is the fourth single from Barbie the Album, following Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night,” Karol G’s “Watati,” and PinkPantheress’ “Angel.” The soundtrack and film are out on Friday, July 21.
Nicki Minaj—who launched “Barbie Tingz” in 2018 and whose followers are referred to as Barbz—beforehand collaborated with Ice Spice on “Princess Diana.” She is planning to release her Queen follow-up on October 20.
Ice Spice launched her debut EP, Like..?, in January. She has had three top five hits in 2023: “Princess Diana,” “Boys a Liar, Pt. 2” (with PinkPantheress), and “Karma” (with Taylor Swift).
