Characters from Byker Grove are returning for a follow-up collection. The collection is being revamped with two former stars, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, as govt producers.
Created by Adele Rose and Andrea Wonfor, the BBC teen drama collection debuted in 1989 and was aimed toward younger grownup viewers. The story is ready in a youth membership within the Byker district of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The collection ran for 18 seasons and 344 episodes.
Donnelly mentioned the next concerning the revival, per Variety:
“Byker Grove will all the time be very particular to us because the present which gave us our break, so we’re past excited to be working along with Fulwell 73 on bringing it again. We’re wanting ahead to bringing this contemporary incarnation to a complete new technology in addition to those that bear in mind it as fondly as we do.”
McPartlin added, “We owe so much to Byker Grove and the North East, so we will’t wait to begin working with Fulwell 73 and the crew to deliver this iconic collection again to life. Already speaking characters and storylines has us all buzzing on the potentialities forward.”
The premiere date for this new collection will likely be introduced later. An outlet has but to be introduced.
