The Vampire Diaries wrapped in 2017 after eight seasons on The CW. With two spin-offs – The Originals and Legacies – followers spent numerous time in Mystic Falls – the fictional small city with many supernatural beings in residence.
Starring Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Kat Graham, Candice King, Zach Roerig, Matt Davis, and Michael Malarkey, the collection adopted the Salvatore brothers and people they referred to as associates within the small city.
Wesley now stars in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds as a younger James T. Kirk, and he spoke about The Vampire Diaries, the influence it had on his life, and the potential for his returning for a reboot of The CW collection in an interview with InStyle.
He stated the next concerning the probability of a reboot of the favored vampire drama:
