Disney’s Winnie the Pooh, The New Musical Stage Adaptation involves the King’s Theatre Glasgow from Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 July 2023 as a part of a UK and Eire tour. This new journey is on tour following a record-breaking New York premiere in 2021.
Deep within the Hundred Acre Wooden, a brand new journey is about to occur. A.A. Milne’s beloved characters, Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and their finest mates Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit and Owl (and Tigger too!), will all arrive on the stage of the King’s Theatre in a fantastically crafted musical stage adaptation.
In a brand new story from the Hundred Acre Wooden, this recent stage adaptation is instructed with spectacular life-size puppetry, thrilling new tales and that includes characters which have performed iconic roles within the lives of kids for generations.
Accompanying the fashionable narrative is an authentic rating by Nate Edmondson, that includes among the Grammy award-winning songs written by the Sherman Brothers for the unique animated options, together with Winnie the Pooh, The Blustery Day, The Great Factor About Tiggers and Whoop-De-Dooper Bounce, plus A.A. Milne’s The Extra It Snows (that includes music by Carly Simon) and Sing Ho in a brand new association.
Disney’s Winnie the Pooh, The New Musical Adaptation is developed and introduced by famend household leisure creator Jonathan Rockefeller (whose spectacular puppetry is omnipresent within the acclaimed productions of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Present, Paddington Will get in a Jam and Sesame Road the Musical).
