Eilish co-wrote “What Was I Made For?” together with her brother, Finneas, who produced it at his residence studio in Los Angeles.
Eilish is one in every of a number of huge names on the soundtrack to Greta Gerwig’s tackle the world of Mattel’s massively in style dolls. Dua Lipa, who plays a Barbie mermaid in the movie, contributed “Dance the Night,” with Gerwig making a cameo within the single’s music video.
Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice joined forces on “Barbie World,” which samples Aqua’s 1997 hit “Barbie Lady.” Charli XCX, Tame Impala, Lizzo, Haim, PinkPantheress, and extra all seem elsewhere on the soundtrack. It arrives in full when Barbie hits theaters nationally on July 21.
