Lush’s founding guitarist and someday vocalist Emma Anderson has introduced Pearlies, her debut solo album. The album, produced by James Chapman (aka Maps), is out October 20 by way of Sonic Cathedral, and you’ll watch the Kieran Evans–directed video for brand spanking new single “Bend the Round” under. Suede’s Richard Oakes performs further guitar on the observe.
Lush initially cut up after their 1996 album Lovelife, whereupon Anderson shaped Sing-Sing and launched a pair of albums, beginning with The Joy of Sing-Sing, earlier than that band’s breakup in 2008. Lush reunited in 2015, releasing an EP earlier than breaking up again.
