TV present description:
A coming-of-age comedy sequence, the Son of a Critch TV present was created by Mark Critch and Tim McAuliffe and relies on Critch’s memoir.
The story begins as a younger Mark (Ainsworth) enters St. Johns, a junior highschool in Nineteen Eighties Newfoundland. Whereas he’s 11 years outdated on the skin, Mark is way older on the within. He makes use of comedy and self-deprecation to win mates and join with the small assortment of individuals in his restricted world.
Mike Critch (Critch) is his father and a reporter for a neighborhood radio station, VOCM. His gossipy mom is Mary (Rankin), and his long-haired older brother is Mike Jr. (Gobbo).
Patrick “Pop” Critch (McDowell), the brood’s live-in grandfather, shares a bed room with Mark. He smokes in mattress, raids funeral parlors for sandwiches, and moons Mark each morning.
