Later this week, Shakespeare & Hathaway: Non-public Investigators is returning for its second season on Ovation. The cable channel additionally has plans to air seasons three and 4 within the fall. The present has but to be renewed for a fifth season on BBC One within the UK.

Starring Jo Joyner, Mark Benton, and Patrick Walshe McBride, the UK comedy-mystery sequence follows former Detective Inspector (DI) Frank Hathaway (Benton), rookie sidekick Lu Shakespeare (Joyner), and assistant Sebastian Brudenell (Patrick Walshe McBride) as they clear up circumstances collectively.

Ovation TV, America’s premier arts community, will start airing 4 seasons of the beloved British detective sequence Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators subsequent month. Starring Mark Benton because the hard-boiled Frank Hathaway and Jo Joyner as his rookie sidekick Lu Shakespeare, the sequence was created by Paul Matthew Thompson (Vera, Docs) and Jude Tindall (Father Brown, Docs). Two episodes will air back-to-back each Saturday evening throughout Ovation TV’s Thriller Alley programming vacation spot. Season One premieres on Ovation TV on Saturday, June 24 at 7pm ET, whereas Season Two premieres on Saturday, July 29 at 7pm ET.

Bride-to-be Luella Shakespeare believes her future husband Clive Brenton (Nigel Whitmey) is untrue and approaches shabby personal eye and ex-policeman Frank Hathaway. Becoming a member of with Frank and his assistant Sebastian (Patrick Walshe McBride), she uncovers Clive’s shady previous and proves her personal sleuthing abilities. The unlikely pair kinds a partnership as they examine extramarital affairs, murderous magicians, kidnapped au pairs, and extra in Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwickshire. Regardless of their fixed disagreements, the duo makes an excellent crew on this action-packed, fun-filled comedic drama.
