Life Learnings of a Nonsensical Human is an ode to the enjoyment and complexities of friendship, queerness and raving. To the kindness of strangers, to the heartbreak of loss and lacking and discovering pleasure in probably the most unlikely locations. These poems are for outdated ravers and enjoyable makers, for anybody who has had a greatest good friend. This is a love letter to the sticky flooring that we now have danced on for all these years.

Jenny Foulds (she/her) is a queer neurodiverse efficiency poet, author and actress from Scotland. Jenny was the 2021 Scottish Poetry Slam Champion and was a finalist within the World Slam Championships in 2022, in addition to being host and curator of the Brighton based mostly Spoken Word night time Rebel Soapbox. She has had characteristic and headline gigs at nights throughout the UK together with Hammer & Tongue, Loud Poets, Grooveverse, Stanza Poetry pageant, and Edinburgh Fringe. As an actress she was a collection common in Two Thousand Acres of Sky (BBC) and appeared in varied TV and movie roles together with Rebus, Mandancin’, Taggart and The Debt Collector. She based the road artwork weblog Happy Graffiti, which later grew to become a e-book revealed by Octopus Books (a Hachette imprint) in 2013. Laura Mugridge is an award successful theatremaker, performer and director. Her first present Running On Air was carried out inside a 1978 VW campervan and gained a Scotsman Fringe First Award in 2010.
