What started as a comic premise has developed into the story of what we do as we get older and how to live a good life. Paul’s been in a couple of my shows, he’s fantastic, and I can’t wait to get to work with Stephen.”

“Douglas is one of PPP’s and Scottish theatre’s most treasured playwrights. He tackles familiar worlds with a laser sharp perspective and with heartwarming integrity which is no different in this play. We’re especially pleased that real-life brothers Paul and Stephen have agreed to come on board for this production. What a joy to have their sibling connection and shared life experience to lend to the characters.”
The Sheriff of Kalamaki will run at Oran Mor, Glasgow from 25-30 September 2023 and can go on tour and carry out at Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh (5-7 October), The Gaiety, Ayr (12-14 October), and The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen (17-21 October)
