The play is directed by Laila Noble, the Resident Director for PPP’s Autumn 2023 season as a part of the Marilyn Imrie Fellowship in affiliation with Stellar Quines Theatre Company.

I wanted to tell the story of my encounters with these people and show how one of them affected me so profoundly. In this play, I want to push the boundaries of what a lunchtime play can do whilst giving the audience everything they’ve come to expect – a great story, a lot of laughs and maybe a tiny shift in perspective by the end.”
Meetings with the Monk will run at Oran Mor, Glasgow from 9-14 October and can then carry out at Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh from 17-21 October
