Cats have mastered the artwork of unscripted comedy. Their unbiased streak results in hilarious moments: the epic miscalculation that sends them tumbling off a bookshelf, the sudden burst of zoomies throughout the lounge, or the extraordinary focus on stalking a mud bunny twice their dimension. Their expressions, from wide-eyed curiosity to grumpy disapproval, are endlessly entertaining. Even their sounds – chirps, trills, and the occasional sassy meow – add to the comical chaos.
Perhaps their indifference to our amusement and regal goofiness makes them so undeniably humorous. All we people know is that life is extra humorous with cats and easily extra fulfilling.
