Project Runway won’t reunite Heidi Klum along with her co-host Tim Gunn. Freeform announced in January that Klum was returning to the collection for its new season.
However, Gunn has now revealed that he was not requested to return to the collection. He hosted the collection for 16 seasons alongside Klum.
He mentioned the next in regards to the revamped collection, in response to People:
“Heidi despatched me a textual content saying, ‘There’s discuss bringing Project Runway again with us, with you and me, and would you do it?’ And I mentioned, ‘Would I do it? Of course, there’s not a second of hesitation in me.
So Heidi and I have been texting and texting, and several other months later, she despatched me a textual content asking, ‘Are you happy with your contract?’ I’m a truth-teller. I don’t even mince phrases. I mentioned, ‘Well, I haven’t seen a contract.’ And she mentioned, ‘You haven’t?’ No. So I known as my agent and he knew issues have been happening, however he contacted the chief producers of this new present, and so they mentioned, ‘We don’t need him.’ And [my agent] mentioned, ‘Well, he’s performed 19 seasons of Runway, 16 with Heidi. The two of them received an Emmy collectively as hosts, and now you’re going to separate them?’ And they mentioned sure.
So I wasn’t requested again. However, a number of weeks after that dialog, they went again to [my agent] and mentioned, ‘Well, we’ve thought of it and we’d be prepared to supply Tim a small cameo in a single episode.’ What do I do? And as Heidi would say, you’re both in otherwise you’re out. And I’m out. So I wasn’t requested to hitch.”
He goes on to confess his disappointment, however he’ll watch the brand new present to cheer on Klum, who was additionally upset to not be working with Gunn on the brand new collection.
