Based on a True Story won’t be returning for a 3rd season. According to Variety, Peacock has canceled the collection after two seasons on the streaming service.
Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina, Tom Bateman, Priscilla Quintana, Liana Liberato, Natalia Dyer, Alex Alomar Akpobome, Aisha Alfa, and Annabelle Dexter-Jones star within the collection, which follows a pair producing a real crime podcast who find yourself in the midst of a homicide investigation.
Season two of Based on a True Story premiered on Peacock in November.
