Hacks is just not going wherever simply but. Max has renewed the comedy collection for a fifth season forward of its season 4 finale on Thursday.
Jean Smart, Hannah Einbinder, Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo star within the collection, which follows the connection between a comedienne and her author.
Max stated the next concerning the collection’ renewal:
“Max has renewed the multi-Emmy®-winning comedy collection HACKS for a fifth season forward of the season 4 finale, debuting this THURSDAY, MAY 29 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET. Over the course of its run, the collection has garnered 48 Emmy® nominations, together with a season three win for Outstanding Comedy Series.
HACKS has been a prime 5 collection on Max since its season 4 debut within the U.S. and a prime 10 collection globally. Season 4 has been pacing because the collection’ greatest season but and has achieved each home and world week-over-week progress each week to date this season.”
Erin Underhill, President of Universal Television, stated the next concerning the collection’ renewal:

The premiere date for season 5 of Hacks might be introduced later.
