This line-blurring mockumentary is a fearless comedy by Cody Lightning, who catapulted to fame within the 1998 indie hit Smoke Indicators. Enjoying a fictionalized model of himself in Hey Viktor!, he makes an attempt to recapture his former glory by producing Smoke Indicators 2. Lightning, a Cree actor from Edmonton, co-wrote the screenplay and is a recent voice in Native cinema.

Editor Sarah Taylor reduce the movie in Premiere Professional, which she describes as “a second language, so it’s all the time my first selection” and says that she finds working in it so intuitive that it lets her simply deal with the inventive. Her recommendation to different editors? “Use the proxy workflow and multicam for syncing your footage. Get aware of shortcuts like Q and W, use pancake modifying and the transcription instruments. These have all been recreation changers for me and have made me far more environment friendly.”
