This Christmas at Tramway, there’s festive enjoyable for households from award-winning theatre firm Tortoise in a Nutshell, with playful manufacturing Ginger. The pleasant interactive present, which tells the story of a gingerbread misfit, will probably be on the Glasgow Life-managed arts venue from 6-16 December.

Ginger is a misshapen gingerbread particular person, discarded and marked for the bin. Follow our biscuity hero as they encourage a picture-perfect kitchen to come back alive in a cacophony of chaos.

Drawing inspiration from The Gingerbread ManGinger is an authentic reimagining of a widely known folktale about one character’s flight to freedom. But ought to Ginger carry on working? Or has the time come to take a stand and declare again the kitchen?

The one-hour efficiency features a 35-minute present, adopted by 25 minutes of gingerbread adorning. Recommended for ages three to seven.
